1970s

The 1970s saw the addition of electronics, microcomputers, and software development to my repertoire. Remember, this was before the Internet and Google, so educational materials outside an academic setting usually involved magazine article reading, data books, and interaction with like-minded friends. Magazines included Radio Electronics, Popular Electronics, and later on Byte.

I got my first actual full-time job at IMSAI near the end of the decade.
