Here is the BX-3 / CX-3 troubleshooting guide.

It's a step-by-step guide to aid anyone with no more than basic electronic skills and a multi-meter to be able to diagnose and fix almost any electrical problem with the BX-3 or CX-3. It works like a interview. You're presented with a series of question tables, where you choose the best answer. That may take you to another table, and so on until you get to a page that talks about getting into the problem at hand.

You may want to start off by removing the top cover of the organ, and getting it situated where you have plenty of room and light in which to work. You'll almost for sure have to at least "pop the hood."

You may prefer to browse through the list of Common Problems if you prefer a more advanced direct approach.

Please bear in mind that these instructions are meant only as a guide, and are not a guarantee of outcome if you follow them. Troubleshooting and repair of these instruments can be very complicated and tricky.

If all of this seems to be a bit overwhelming to you, Parastream has a mail-in board repair service that will give you a guaranteed binding quote to fix almost any problem. Click here for more information.
