An
Intel 8085 S-100 card to directly replace the IMSAI 8080A CPU card, with the
advantage of a 50% increase in processor speed with no faster memory access time
requirement. The challenge was to accurately emulate the Intel 8080A’s timing
and status signals, which included generation of the EI (interrupts enabled)
signal. Included 2 layer PC layout and tape up. Shown at the West Coast Computer
Fair in 1981. You can click on the image to the right to see a larger image. |
